Hungarian Nokedli Dumplings


Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
  3. Add eggs and water, mixing until you get a soft, sticky dough.
  4. Using a spoon or dumpling maker, drop small pieces of dough into boiling water.
  5. Cook until dumplings float to the top (about 2–3 minutes).
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.

Optional:

  • Toss with butter or a little oil to prevent sticking.
  • Serve as a side with stews or dishes like chicken paprikash.
