
Ingredients:
- 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter or oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 tsp dried dill (or fresh, optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a pot, sauté onion until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Remove from heat, stir in paprika and dill.
- Add broth and soy sauce, simmer 15 minutes.
- Whisk flour with milk, pour into soup, stir until thickened.
- Lower heat, add sour cream and lemon juice.
- Season to taste and serve hot.
