Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 4 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
- 200 g smoked sausage or bacon, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 300 ml sour cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for greasing
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until just tender, then slice them.
- Fry the bacon or sausage until lightly crispy; add onion and cook until soft.
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Grease a baking dish.
- Layer potatoes at the bottom, season lightly.
- Add sliced eggs, then bacon and onion.
- Spread some sour cream on top.
- Repeat layers, finishing with potatoes and sour cream.
- Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden on top.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
