
Ingredients
- 6–7 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup cooked smoked sausage or ham, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a baking dish.
- Boil potatoes until just tender; drain.
- Sauté onion in butter until soft.
- Layer potatoes, eggs, sausage, and onions in the baking dish. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika between layers.
- Mix sour cream with milk and pour evenly over the layers.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until top is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving.
