Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk/water; let sit 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a bowl mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and oil to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead until smooth, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
  4. Divide dough into small balls and flatten into round discs.
  5. Fry in hot oil 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Rub with garlic, spread sour cream, and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Serve warm.
