  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (100 g) ground walnuts (traditional)
  • 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, cold & cubed
  • ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

For Coating

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the Dough
    • Mix flour, ground walnuts, powdered sugar, and salt.
    • Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
    • Add vanilla and gently knead until dough comes together.
  2. Chill
    • Wrap dough and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  3. Shape
    • Take small pieces of dough.
    • Roll into thin logs and shape into crescents.
  4. Bake
