
🍳 Instructions:
- Heat oil/lard in a large pot. Add onions and sauté until soft and golden.
- Remove pot from heat. Stir in paprika (this prevents burning), then return to heat and immediately add the beef cubes.
- Cook for a few minutes, stirring to brown all sides of the meat.
- Add caraway seeds, garlic, tomato, and green pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in broth or water just to cover the beef. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour, or until beef starts to become tender.
- Add carrots, parsnips, and potatoes. Add more broth if needed to cover.
- Continue simmering for another 30–40 minutes, until vegetables and beef are fully tender.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

- Csipetke (small homemade pinched noodles), rustic bread, or crusty rolls.
