Instructions

  1. Mix yeast with warm milk and a little sugar, rest 10 minutes.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, butter, egg yolks, and yeast mixture. Knead into smooth dough.
  3. Divide dough into 3–4 parts.
  4. Roll first layer into baking pan. Spread apricot jam and sprinkle walnut + sugar mix.
  5. Add next dough layer and repeat filling. Finish with dough layer.
  6. Let rest 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes.
  8. Melt chocolate with butter and spread on top.
  9. Cool and cut into small squares.
