
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 250 g unsalted butter, cold
- 100 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 300 g apricot jam
- 200 g ground walnuts
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 50 g butter
Instructions:
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla; knead into smooth dough. Divide into 3 parts; chill 20–30 min.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out first third of dough; place in pan. Spread half apricot jam.
- Roll out second third; place over jam. Spread ground walnuts.
- Roll out final third; place on top. Bake 35–40 min until golden. Cool completely.
- Melt chocolate with butter; pour over cooled cake. Let set before slicing.
