
Instructions
- Mix yeast with warm milk and a little sugar, rest 10 minutes.
- In a bowl mix flour, sugar, salt, egg yolks, melted butter, vanilla, and yeast mixture.
- Knead until soft dough forms.
- Cover and let rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough about 1–1.5 cm thick and cut donut shapes.
- Let them rest 20 minutes.
- Fry in hot oil 2–3 minutes each side until golden.
- Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
