
Ingredients
Custard cream
- 1 liter milk
- 4 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 80 g cornstarch or flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Whipped layer
- 300 ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Base
- 2 sheets puff pastry
Top
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- Bake puff pastry sheets at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Heat milk in a pot.
- Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch.
- Slowly add hot milk while stirring.
- Cook until thick custard forms.
- Pour custard over one baked pastry sheet.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and spread over custard.
- Place the second pastry sheet on top.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and refrigerate 2 hours before cutting.
