
A soft, creamy, and fluffy Hungarian dessert that everyone will love!
📝 Ingredients:
- 750 g semi-fat plain cottage cheese
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp flour (add a bit more if needed)
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites (beaten into stiff peaks)
- 400 ml sour cream (20%)
- 20 g vanilla sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Raisins, optional
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix cottage cheese, sugar, flour, egg yolks, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Gently fold in the sour cream.
- Carefully fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites to keep the mixture airy.
- Add raisins if desired.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
- Let cool completely before slicing.
