
Ingredients
- 500 g cottage cheese (or farmer’s cheese)
- 2 eggs
- 80 g semolina (½ cup)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- pinch of salt
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter
- powdered sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs, semolina, vanilla sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Form small balls with your hands.
- Boil salted water and cook the balls for 5–7 minutes until they float.
- In a pan melt butter and toast breadcrumbs until golden.
- Roll the cooked balls in the toasted breadcrumbs.
- Serve with powdered sugar on top.
