- 🧈 2 tbsp butter or lard
- 🛢️ 1 tbsp vegetable oil

- 🧅 2 large yellow onions, finely chopped
- 🌶️ 2–3 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika (high quality, this is the soul of the dish!)
