
Ingredients
- 250 g quark (túró) or cream cheese
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 1 small onion, very finely chopped
- 1–2 tsp Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (ground or whole)
- 1 tsp mustard
- Salt, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp butter (soft)
- Chopped chives or green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Mix quark, sour cream, and butter until smooth.
- Add onion, paprika, caraway, mustard, and salt.
- Mix well and adjust seasoning.
- Chill 20–30 minutes for best flavor.
Serve with: fresh bread, toast, crackers, or stuffed into peppers.
