Homemade Mango Carlota (No-Bake Dessert)

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or evaporated milk, very cold)
  • 1 package Maria cookies or tea biscuits
  • ½ cup milk (for dipping cookies)
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend mangoes, condensed milk, heavy cream, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  2. Quickly dip cookies in milk (do not soak).
  3. In a glass dish or pan, layer cookies, then mango cream.
  4. Repeat layers, finishing with mango cream on top.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours (or overnight) until set.
  6. Slice and serve cold.
