
Homemade Mango Carlota (No-Bake Dessert)
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream (or evaporated milk, very cold)
- 1 package Maria cookies or tea biscuits
- ½ cup milk (for dipping cookies)
- Juice of 1 lemon or lime
Instructions:
- In a blender, blend mangoes, condensed milk, heavy cream, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
- Quickly dip cookies in milk (do not soak).
- In a glass dish or pan, layer cookies, then mango cream.
- Repeat layers, finishing with mango cream on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours (or overnight) until set.
- Slice and serve cold.
