🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
2. Melt Butter & Mix Sugar
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar until well combined.
3. Add Eggs & Vanilla
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
4. Add Dry Ingredients
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Optional: fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
5. Bake
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (do not overbake for fudgy brownies).
6. Cool & Serve
- Let brownies cool in the pan for at least 10–15 minutes.
- Cut into squares and serve plain, with ice cream, or drizzle with chocolate sauce.
💡 Tips
- For extra fudgy brownies, reduce flour to ⅓ cup and bake for slightly less time.
- For cakier brownies, add an extra egg.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top before baking for a gourmet touch.
I can also give you a one-bowl, no-mixer homemade brownie recipe that’s super quick and ultra fudgy. Do you want me to share that version too?
