
2 cups cooked chicken, finely shredded (rotisserie chicken works perfectly!)
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup whole milk (or buttermilk for extra tang)
1 large egg, lightly beaten
¼ cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon paprika (Grandma’s secret for that golden color!)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
