- Prep the seafood:
Pat the lobster and scallops dry. Season with salt and pepper. - Sear the scallops:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add scallops and sear 1½–2 minutes per side, until golden. Remove and set aside. - Cook the lobster:
In the same pan, add 2 tbsp butter. Place lobster tails flesh-side down and sear for 2–3 minutes, until lightly golden. Flip, cover, and cook another 3 minutes until opaque and cooked through. - Make the garlic butter sauce:
Add remaining 2 tbsp butter to the pan along with minced garlic. Cook 30 seconds, then stir in lemon juice and zest. - Combine:
Return scallops to the skillet, spoon garlic butter sauce over everything, and cook 1 minute just to warm through. - Serve immediately with extra sauce drizzled on top and sprinkle with parsley.
