Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In the same pot or a skillet, warm the heavy cream over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and simmer gently for 1–2 minutes (do not boil).
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta and toss well. Use a little reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
