Ingredients

Chocolate Cake

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee or hot water

Hazelnut Cream Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella-style)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

Chocolate Ganache

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Topping

  • Ferrero Rocher chocolates (whole or halved)
  • Chopped hazelnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two round cake pans.
  2. Mix dry cake ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla.
    Stir in hot coffee/water.
  3. Bake 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and hazelnut spread until smooth.
    Whip cream separately, then fold together.
  5. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
  6. Assemble: cake layer → hazelnut cream → cake layer.
  7. Cover with ganache and decorate with Ferrero Rocher.
  8. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
