🔹 Ingredients:
- 1 can (395g / 14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups (400g) brown sugar or white sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
🔹 Instructions:
Step 1: Cook
- In a non-stick saucepan, combine condensed milk, sugar, and butter.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
- The mixture will thicken and start pulling away from the sides (about 10–15 minutes).
- When very thick and smooth, remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla.
Step 2: Set
- Pour into a greased or parchment-lined pan.
- Smooth the top.
- Let cool at room temperature or refrigerate 1–2 hours.
Step 3: Cut
- Once firm, cut into small cubes like in the picture.
💡 Tips:
- Stir constantly to prevent burning.
- For chocolate version: add ½ cup cocoa powder.
- For nutty flavor: add chopped walnuts or peanuts.
- For caramel flavor: use all brown sugar.
