Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar (optional, helps yeast)
- 1½ cups warm water
Instructions
- Mix the dough:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add warm water and stir with a spoon until sticky dough forms.
- Let it rise:
- Cover the bowl with a cloth.
- Let it rest 30–45 minutes in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Shape & bake:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pour dough into a greased loaf pan or shape roughly on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- Cool & serve:
- Let bread cool slightly before slicing.
Tips
