
Fried Potatoes, Onions & Smoked Polish Sausage 🥔🧅🌭
(Simple, old-school comfort food)
Ingredients
- 4–5 potatoes, peeled & sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 12–14 oz smoked Polish sausage, sliced
- 2–3 tbsp oil or butter
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Optional: paprika or garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and lightly browned.
- Add onions and sausage.
- Cook uncovered 8–10 minutes, stirring, until onions are caramelized and sausage is nicely browned.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.
🔥 Best served with: eggs, sauerkraut, or a slice of crusty bread.
