Instructions
1. Prep the Air Fryer:
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place bacon strips in a single layer in the basket (they can overlap slightly, but avoid crowding for crispier results).
2. Cooking Time:
- Regular-cut bacon: 7–9 minutes (for crispy edges but still a little chewy).
- Extra crispy: 9–10 minutes.
- Thick-cut bacon: 10–12 minutes.
(Flip bacon halfway through cooking for the most even crispiness, especially with thick slices.)
3. Drain & Serve:
- Transfer bacon to a paper towel–lined plate to drain excess fat.
- Serve warm!
Tips:
- If making a large batch, cook in batches so slices crisp evenly.
- To reduce smoke, place a slice of bread or a bit of water in the drip tray to catch the grease.
- For flavored bacon, brush with maple syrup or sprinkle with black pepper before cooking.
Would you like me to also give you a brown sugar–candied air fryer bacon version (sweet and crispy, perfect for brunch)?
