
Instructions
1. Season & sear the salmon
- Pat salmon dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a skillet.
- Cook salmon 3–4 minutes per side until golden and almost cooked through.
- Remove and set aside.
2. Make the creamy garlic butter sauce
- In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter.
- Sauté onions for 1–2 minutes (optional).
- Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
- Pour in broth + cream. Stir.
- Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add spinach and let it wilt.
3. Bring it all together
- Return salmon to the skillet.
- Spoon sauce over the top.
- Add lemon juice and simmer 2 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked and sauce is creamy.
