
🍝🧄 Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in heavy cream, add Italian seasoning and nutmeg. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked linguine, and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
