Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced or pounded thin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Pasta:

  • 300g (10 oz) linguine
  • Salt for boiling water

Optional:

  • Parsley
  • Extra parmesan

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the linguine

  1. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  3. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil + 2 tbsp butter in a skillet.
  3. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Alfredo sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt 3 tbsp butter.
  2. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in heavy cream + chicken broth.
  4. Simmer 2 minutes.
  5. Add parmesan; stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  7. If too thick, add a splash of pasta water.

4. Combine

  1. Add linguine into the Alfredo sauce.
  2. Toss until creamy and coated.
  3. Slice the chicken and place on top.
  4. Spoon extra sauce over the chicken.

5. Serve

Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan.
