🥒 Creamy Cucumber Salad
Ingredients
- 2–3 cucumbers, thinly sliced
- ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, extra creamy)
- 1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
- Thinly sliced red onion (optional)
Instructions
- Slice cucumbers thinly. Lightly salt and let sit 10 minutes, then drain excess liquid.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar (or lemon), sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add cucumbers (and onion if using) and toss until well coated.
- Chill 15–30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Tips & Variations
- Extra tangy: add more vinegar or lemon
- Light version: use Greek yogurt only
- Classic touch: lots of fresh dill
