Creamy Chicken Potato Bake

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the potatoes

Slice potatoes thinly (3–4 mm).
Season lightly with salt & pepper.

2. Season the chicken

In a bowl, mix chicken with:

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Oregano

Set aside.


3. Make the creamy sauce

In a saucepan:

  • Melt butter or cream cheese
  • Add garlic, cook 30 seconds
  • Add flour (optional) and stir
  • Pour in cream + chicken broth
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened
  • Season with salt & pepper

Cream should be smooth and rich.


4. Layer the bake

In a greased baking dish:

  1. Layer potatoes
  2. Add half the chicken
  3. Pour some creamy sauce
  4. Add cheese

Repeat layers until everything is used.

Finish with cheese on top.


5. Bake

Cover with foil and bake:

  • 45 minutes at 190°C / 375°F

Remove foil and bake:

  • 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
