
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the potatoes
Slice potatoes thinly (3–4 mm).
Season lightly with salt & pepper.
2. Season the chicken
In a bowl, mix chicken with:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Oregano
Set aside.
3. Make the creamy sauce
In a saucepan:
- Melt butter or cream cheese
- Add garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add flour (optional) and stir
- Pour in cream + chicken broth
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened
- Season with salt & pepper
Cream should be smooth and rich.
4. Layer the bake
In a greased baking dish:
- Layer potatoes
- Add half the chicken
- Pour some creamy sauce
- Add cheese
Repeat layers until everything is used.
Finish with cheese on top.
5. Bake
Cover with foil and bake:
- 45 minutes at 190°C / 375°F
Remove foil and bake:
- 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
