- Make the sauce: In a large bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine ingredients: Add cooked potatoes, chicken, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and half of the crumbled bacon to the sauce. Mix gently until well coated.
- Assemble the casserole: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon on top.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
