🔹 Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Meat Topping:
- 300g (10 oz) ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion (very finely chopped or grated)
- 1 small tomato (finely chopped or grated)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
For Filling:
- 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella
🔹 Instructions
Step 1: Make Dough
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast.
- Add warm water and oil.
- Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Let rise 45–60 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare Meat Mix
- Mix all topping ingredients until well combined.
Step 3: Shape & Bake
- Divide dough into small balls.
- Roll thin into circles.
- Spread a thin layer of meat mixture.
- Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 8–10 minutes until cooked.
Step 4: Add Cheese & Roll
- Sprinkle mozzarella on hot lahmacun.
- Return to oven 2–3 minutes until melted.
- Roll tightly like a wrap.
- Slice and garnish with parsley.
