Cheesy Lahmacun Rolls

🔹 Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Meat Topping:

  • 300g (10 oz) ground beef or lamb
  • 1 small onion (very finely chopped or grated)
  • 1 small tomato (finely chopped or grated)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

For Filling:

  • 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella

🔹 Instructions

Step 1: Make Dough

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast.
  2. Add warm water and oil.
  3. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let rise 45–60 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare Meat Mix

  • Mix all topping ingredients until well combined.

Step 3: Shape & Bake

  1. Divide dough into small balls.
  2. Roll thin into circles.
  3. Spread a thin layer of meat mixture.
  4. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 8–10 minutes until cooked.

Step 4: Add Cheese & Roll

  1. Sprinkle mozzarella on hot lahmacun.
  2. Return to oven 2–3 minutes until melted.
  3. Roll tightly like a wrap.
  4. Slice and garnish with parsley.
