Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.

Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface.

Separate into triangles along the perforated lines.

Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese on the wide end of each triangle.

If using, sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the cheese.

Roll each triangle tightly from the wide end to the pointed end, sealing the edges to keep the cheese inside.

Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.

If desired, brush the tops lightly with melted butter or cooking spray and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or grated Parmesan.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

Let cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm for the best flavor.
