- Steps:
- Prepare the Batter:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line 6 round cake pans.
- Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in one bowl. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in another. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet, alternating with milk.
- Color the Layers:
- Divide batter into 6 bowls and tint each with a different rainbow color.
- Pour into pans and bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool completely.
- Assemble and Frost:
- Layer the cakes with buttercream in between. Frost the entire cake with a smooth layer of buttercream.
- Decorate:
- Add buttercream swirls, butterfly toppers, and sprinkle edible glitter for a magical finish.
