
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with foil.
- Mix meatloaf
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently with your hands until just combined (don’t overmix).
- Form loaf
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in pan.
- Add topping
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Lay bacon slices across the top (optional but amazing).
- Bake
- Bake uncovered for 55–65 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
- In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle extra cheddar on top so it melts into the glaze.
- Rest & serve
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
