Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional: cinnamon or nutmeg for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch baking pan.
- Mix wet ingredients:
Beat eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix together:
Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth.
- Bake:
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and serve:
Let cool slightly. Optionally sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top before serving
