Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (900 g) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 1 1/2 lbs (700 g) ground pork (or pork/beef mix)
- 1 cup rice, cooked
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp lard or vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional, but traditional)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 cups sour cream
