🍴 Hungarian Lángos (Fried Bread)
Ingredients:
- 4 cups (500 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (7 g) instant yeast (or 25 g fresh yeast)
- 1 ½ cups (350 ml) warm milk (or half milk, half water)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (plus more for greasing)
- Oil for frying (sunflower or vegetable oil)
Toppings (traditional & optional):
- Garlic oil (2 cloves garlic grated into 3 tbsp oil)
- Sour cream
- Grated cheese (Edam, mozzarella, or any mild cheese)
- Ham, sausage, or other toppings if you like
