Ingredients (makes 8–10 patties)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground pork (or pork + beef mix)
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- ½ tsp marjoram (optional, traditional spice)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying
