🍰 Ingredients
For the dough:
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup (70g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, cold and diced
- 1/3 cup (75ml) warm milk
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 1 to 1 1/4 cups (250–300g) apricot jam (smooth or slightly chunky)
- 1 1/2 cups (150g) ground walnuts
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar (optional, but traditional)
For the chocolate glaze:
- 3 oz (85g) dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
