✔ 2 large egg yolks 🥚
✔ 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Filling:

✔ ½ cup sugar
✔ 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional) 🍫
✔ 1 tsp cinnamon
✔ 2 tbsp melted butter

For the Caramelized Top:

✔ ½ cup sugar
✔ 2 tbsp water


👩‍🍳 How to Make Hungarian Fächertorte

Step 1: Make the Dough

1️⃣ In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
2️⃣ Cut in the cold butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
3️⃣ Add sour cream, egg yolks, and vanilla, mixing until a dough forms.
4️⃣ Knead lightly, form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and chill for 1 hour.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

Step 3: Roll & Layer the Dough

Step 4: Cut & Fan the Layers
