Sweet Noodle Pudding (Hungarian Style)

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles
  • 2 cups (480 ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) raisins or sultanas
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Optional: ground cinnamon or powdered sugar for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and melted butter.
  4. Combine noodles and raisins in the baking dish, pour egg mixture over. Mix gently.
  5. Bake 35–40 minutes until the pudding is set and golden on top.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon or powdered sugar before serving.
