
Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 200–250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
- 8–10 plums, pitted
- 8–10 sugar cubes (or 1–2 tsp sugar per plum)
- 100 g butter
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Mash cooled potatoes; mix with egg, salt, and flour to form soft dough.
- Place sugar in pitted plums.
- Wrap each plum with dough, sealing completely.
- Boil dumplings in salted water 10–15 min until they float.
- Toast breadcrumbs in melted butter; stir in powdered sugar.
- Roll cooked dumplings in buttery breadcrumbs.
- Serve warm, dusted with extra powdered sugar.
