
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g butter, softened
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet (7 g) dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup warm milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling:
- 300 g ground walnuts
- 200 g apricot jam
Topping:
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
- Activate Yeast:
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Make Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, salt, and the yeast mixture.
- Knead until smooth.
- Divide & Roll:
- Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
- Roll the first portion into a rectangle and place on a greased or lined baking pan.
- Layer Filling:
- Spread half of the apricot jam over the dough.
- Sprinkle half of the ground walnuts.
- Roll out the second portion of dough and layer on top. Repeat with remaining jam and walnuts.
- Roll out the last portion and place on top.
- Bake:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
- Chocolate Topping:
- Melt chocolate with butter and spread over the cooled cake.
