  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional but amazing)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, garlic powder, and nutmeg. Simmer gently 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked linguine and a splash of pasta water if needed.
  8. Slice chicken and return it to the pan. Toss everything together.
  9. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.

🔥 Tips:

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor
  • Swap linguine for fettuccine if you like thicker pasta
  • Serve with garlic bread or a green salad
