Ingredients

  • 4–5 potatoes, peeled & sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 12–14 oz smoked Polish sausage, sliced
  • 2–3 tbsp oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: paprika or garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and lightly browned.
  3. Add onions and sausage.
  4. Cook uncovered 8–10 minutes, stirring, until onions are caramelized and sausage is nicely browned.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.

🔥 Best served with: eggs, sauerkraut, or a slice of crusty bread.
