🛒 Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 works best)
- 1 cup crushed saltine crackers (or breadcrumbs)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional but great)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Southern Glaze
- ¾ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment. - Mix the meatloaf
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crackers, eggs, milk, onion, seasonings, and Worcestershire.
Mix gently—don’t overwork. - Shape
Press mixture into loaf pan or shape free-form on a baking sheet. - Make glaze
Mix ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire.
Spread half over the meatloaf. - Bake
Bake for 40 minutes, remove, spread remaining glaze, then return to oven. - Finish baking
Bake another 15–20 minutes until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C). - Rest
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
