
🍋🧈 Lemon Butter Fish Fillet
Light, flaky fish in a rich lemon-butter sauce — ready in minutes and perfect for a quick, elegant meal.
🛒 Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock, or sole)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of ½ lemon (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
👩🍳 Instructions
- Season the fish
- Pat fillets dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pan-sear
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add fish and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky.
- Remove fish to a plate.
- Make lemon butter sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter.
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (do not brown).
- Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Finish
- Return fish to pan, spoon sauce over fillets.
- Simmer 1–2 minutes.
- Serve
- Sprinkle with parsley and extra lemon slices.
