Ingredients
- 250 g cottage cheese (dry-style or well-drained)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar (or ½ tsp vanilla extract)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional but traditional)
- 120 g flour (about 1 cup)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Oil for frying (sunflower oil is most traditional)
