🧀 Hungarian Cheese Pogácsa (Sajtos pogácsa)
🧾 Ingredients (about 30 pieces):
- 3 ½ cups (450 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (7 g) instant yeast (or 25 g fresh yeast)
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ cup (120 ml) warm milk
- ½ cup (120 g) butter or lard, softened
- ½ cup (120 g) sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups (150 g) grated cheese (Trappista, Edam, or mild cheddar)
For topping:
- 1 egg (beaten, for brushing)
- ½ cup (50 g) grated cheese
